This is a first world problem for sure.

The picture to the left is my daily driver, a Kensington product I’ve been using for oh, I don’t know, a few years now. One button has become fickle. At first I thought it was misbehaving because of a recent system update, so I rolled my system back to a week ago when it was working fine. No improvement.

I then went into system settings and swapped buttons which isolated the problem to the trackball. I should have done that first.
.
So I took the mouse from the web server, I’m using that for now. I don’t know if or when I’ll replace the trackball.
