Aug 14 (Wed) - Update

Yesterday went according to plan. I had the trailer ready to go at 8, we left soon after.

A perfect day to be on the water.

I’m not sure what I’ll do today. It’s scheduled to rain, so far not a drop. I may clean carpets.

Kim came home from work after her first day all excited about the office staff. She described the boss, one of the drivers, and another person on office staff. Talked about how this one doesn’t do much all day, the other one roams around trying to look busy, and the other office staff is ‘a cuddle bug’. Wait what? Turns out she was describing the three small doggos of different breeds and deportment that live there. She loves going to work. Can’t imagine why.

Kyle doesn’t work on Fridays. This Friday he wants to change the front struts on Sami’s car (if you remember - the right spring broke a while ago). I need to check and see what that involves. If we start that job we have to finish it as there’s no way to move the car with the suspension in pieces.

Wrenching on Friday and paddling on Saturday. We’ll see how that turns out.

Speaking of Saturday, the forecast for Floatzilla: No rain. Partly sunny. Upper 70s. We’ll be paddling into 8-10 knot winds with 20 knot gusts starting around noon. That means whitecaps. Should be interesting.
