May 20 (Mon) – Mowing Lawns
I did what?
There’s a house about six blocks away that I drive past quite often. Sami’s sister and brother in law live there. It’s safe to say that they have zero interest in keeping their yards up..
He prefers to let it go until the city gets fed up and sends a crew out to mow it for him. $70 an hour, minimum two hour charge. Two days ago the grass was almost knee high.

So when Kyle stopped by yesterday I asked him if he could contact them and let them know I might be interested in mowing their lawn. I’d be getting the money instead of the city and I wouldn’t let it go to seed or higher before I cleaned it up.

Now here it is the next day and I’m re-thinking the whole thing. Sure, the money would be nice but there’s other (possibly more important) things to think about.

When he contacts me I may just let him know that I was out of my gourd when I got to thinkin’ about mowin’ his yard, I hope he understands.
