It’s a Sunny and Cool Sunday
A crisp morning outside that’ll change on us this afternoon.
The wind is gonna pick up right after lunch, turning everything sideways. I’m not about to dress up and run around outside chasing leaves so I must find something to do inside. Looking at my short too-do list I see electrical. Buuuut… that’ll probably not happen today..
Instead I’m gonna work on something else that I’ve been avoiding. It’s computer related. I’ve been asking myself just why that is but I haven’t been able to give myself an answer. I’ll share what it is when it’s further along. I’m embarrassed it has taken me so long to get to this point with the project. I blame the aging process.

Kim just mentioned that she and Ellen are going to run out to a craft something-or-other. Please don’t ask me for specifics because she told me only a few minutes ago and that’s all the time it took for the details to evaporate. All I needed to remember is that she and Ellen are going out, that they’ll be in town on this side of the river, and that they will each have a phone.

Kim invited me to go with but I decided to stay here and listen to the dogs run back and forth between windows and the yards. Back and forth. Inside. Outside. Inside again. It’s always something with them. That dog door in the kitchen is getting a workout.

I drank my first cup of warm apple cider for the season, so it must be fall.

The only thing missing in my life is candy corn. Some people are of the opinion that that stuff isn’t even candy. Necco wafers, on the other hand, meet every criteria to be called candy no matter what day it is..

Oh. It’s a craft fair. They’re going to a craft fair. I can’t possibly forget it now because not only did I make note of it, I put it on the internet. Cheers.

HyVee (the employee-owned grocery store we went to when you were here) have an awesome candy aisle, I don’t remember spending any time there…
